About the project
Developing Business Performance is the practice of business coach Fergus Crockett, a former senior leader in telecoms, finance and technology. This business coaching website in London is for founders, directors and leadership teams of start-ups, SMEs and corporate divisions, who come to Fergus for one-to-one coaching, tailored workshops and a structured business MOT.
My work on the site
I built the first Developing Business Performance website myself in WordPress and Elementor, then hosted and looked after it for three years. In that time the site had a steady run of updates, from the first launch through to a second, redesigned version.
For the redesign I worked with designer Nargis Shah, who created the new look while I built it. Nicky McKenna of WSI looked after the SEO. Nargis and Nicky are both members of The Business Beanstalk, the West London networking group whose website I also built.
The site is now maintained by WSI Digital Advisors.
What visitors find
Three clear routes in from the home page: coaching, workshops and the business MOT, each with its own section and a button to start a free, confidential conversation. There are client testimonials, a short FAQ on who the coaching is for, and a resources section of articles on strategy, growth, leadership, marketing and high-performance teams.
