About the project
The Congruent Counsellor is the practice of Yasmin Kermali, and this counselling website in London is for people who struggle with self-esteem, cultural identity, confidence, and setting boundaries. Yasmin is an MBACP accredited counsellor who offers counselling online and at the Body & Mind Centre in London SW2.
She also provides clinical supervision for qualified and trainee therapists. The home page explains what congruent means: being honest with yourself, so that your thoughts, words, and behaviours match.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. It opens with a warm introduction to Yasmin and a Book a free call button, then lists the experiences clients often bring, in short phrases that are easy to recognise. A four-step outline shows what working together looks like, starting with a free 20-minute consultation.
Hosting is mine too. I keep WordPress current, check the site’s security, and make regular backups.
What visitors find
A blog, client testimonials shown by initials, a free consultation, and pages for Yasmin’s approach and services. Her accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) is stated on the site.
If you are a counsellor who wants a website that explains your approach in plain words, have a look at my websites for therapists.
