About the project
Sun Beach House is a five-bedroom, self-catering beachfront home near Bognor Regis. This holiday home website for Middleton-on-Sea lets guests look around the house, check dates, and book online.
The house is set up for family holidays, multigenerational getaways, and group stays, with a private hot tub, an outdoor bar called the Skye Bar, and direct access to the beach. Guests can also add housekeeping, a morning bread delivery, or beauty treatments at home.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress. A Book Now button sits in the menu, an availability page shows dates and midweek prices, and the home page leads with a list of key features before longer descriptions of the outdoor and indoor spaces. A postcode tool tells visitors how far they are from the house.
I also host the site and look after it, keeping WordPress and its plugins up to date, watching its security, and keeping regular backups.
What visitors find
A photo gallery, a local area page, guest reviews, and a newsletter sign-up for house updates and local news. The home page describes each bedroom, the kitchen, the lounge, and the garden, and says well-behaved dogs are welcome.
