About the project
Louise Whitnall is an accredited BACP psychotherapist in West Sussex, and this menopause therapist website presents the online therapy groups she runs for women who are perimenopausal, menopausal, or post-menopausal. The groups meet on Zoom and are kept small, with up to seven members.
Louise describes the groups as a place to talk about the menopause experience, with each member given individual space within the group.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. It has pages on what to expect, the stages of menopause, and why Louise chooses groups over individual therapy, so there is plenty to read before a woman decides whether to book. A How to book panel summarises how the groups run, with a Book Now button beside it.
My managed hosting keeps the site running. I update WordPress and its plugins, watch its security, and keep regular backups.
What visitors find
Visitors find comments from past group members, a newsletter sign-up, a resources page, and a link to Louise’s YouTube channel. The home page also says Louise is proud to support Women’s Aid and links to a donation page. Louise is accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If you run therapy groups or a private practice, have a look at my websites for therapists.
