About the project
Katie Louise Counselling is the practice of Katie Graves, and this counsellor website in Morley helps people in Leeds and beyond decide whether she is the right counsellor for them. Katie describes her approach as client-centred, compassionate and collaborative, and she draws on person-centred counselling and CBT.
She sees clients in person at a clinic in Morley near junction 27 of the M62, on a walk and talk, or online by video or phone. Katie also has a particular interest in women’s health and offers dedicated menopause support.
My work on the site
Katie already had a WordPress and Elementor site, and I updated and improved it. The menu covers Home, About, Therapy, Menopause, Fees, FAQs, Resources and Contact, with a Get in touch button at the top of the home page.
The site sits on my managed hosting. I keep WordPress and its plugins up to date, watch security and take regular backups.
What visitors find
Each way of meeting has its own short section, so visitors can compare in-person, walk and talk and online sessions. There are answers to common questions on the FAQs page, client testimonials, and a newsletter sign-up. Katie’s professional bodies are the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
