About the project

Iya London shares London’s overlooked stories through guided walks, talks, and research, and this guided walks website in London is where people see what is coming up and book a place. Joanna Oyediran, an Open City qualified guide, leads walks across West London, including Notting Hill, Hammersmith, and White City.

The company also offers corporate walks and gift cards.

My work on the site

I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. The home page shows an upcoming schedule, with each walk described by its route, distance, and length, its next dates, and a Book now button close at hand.

The site runs on my managed hosting. I keep WordPress and its plugins up to date, watch security, and keep regular backups.

What visitors find

Walk descriptions with distances and durations, online booking, an events schedule, a gallery that links to Iya London’s Instagram feed, a Stories section, FAQs, a newsletter sign-up, and Google reviews from people who have joined a walk.
