About the project
Chez Goret Gites has two self-catering gites for couples in Courgeac, in the Charente countryside of southwest France, and this gite website in Charente is where guests look around and send a booking enquiry. Gite Magic and Gite Skippy can be rented separately or together with another couple.
The owners say the gites are about 4km from everyday shops and services, and that the area suits walking, cycling, golf, and canoeing.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. Each gite has its own page with a gallery and an Enquire Now button, and the booking enquiry and special offers links are easy to find at the top of the page.
The site sits on my managed hosting, where WordPress and its plugins are kept up to date, security is watched, and backups are made regularly.
What visitors find
Visitors find galleries of both gites, details such as the terrace at Gite Magic and the pool and private jacuzzi at Gite Skippy, and a reviews page with comments from past guests. The contact details include UK and French phone numbers.
