About the project
Alicja Blada Edgeley offers counselling face to face in Crewe and online, and this counsellor website in Crewe is where individuals and couples learn how she works. She also provides clinical supervision for therapists.
Alicja draws on person-centred, solution focused, and CBT approaches as well as trauma work. She lists anxiety, panic attacks, depression, domestic abuse, grief, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties among the issues she works with, and she says she is passionate about supporting people who have experienced domestic abuse.
My work on the site
I look after the hosting. The WordPress site and its plugins are kept up to date, its security is watched, and backups are kept regularly.
What visitors find
The home page offers a free 30-minute consultation form, client testimonials, and a set of frequently asked questions. Separate pages cover domestic violence, trauma, counselling for depression, and therapy for anxiety and panic attacks.
In supervision, Alicja says she uses the Seven Eyed Model. Her professional body is the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
