About the project
Self Build Angels helps people planning a self build project avoid costly mistakes. This self build mentoring website is for self-builders and homeowners who want advice, guidance, and mentoring from a team with more than 90 years of combined experience in construction.
The team is based at The Building Centre near Tottenham Court Road, where visitors can also see building examples and find information on techniques and materials.
My work on the self build mentoring website
Self Build Angels runs regular presentations and takes bookings through the site, so the booking pages need to work every time. The site runs on my managed hosting, and I look after it behind the scenes.
That means keeping WordPress, Elementor, and the plugins up to date, watching the site’s security, and taking regular backups, so there’s always a recent copy to restore if something goes wrong.
What visitors find
A welcome that explains how the team helps, an invitation to book the next expert presentation, and comments from people who have attended one. There are pages for services, booking, a blog, and contact details, and a bar at the foot of the page links to the next free presentation.
If you’d rather someone else kept your WordPress site updated and backed up, have a look at my hosting and care.
