About the project
Heavenly Vintage Brides sells restored original vintage wedding dresses from Brentford, and this vintage wedding dress website in Brentford shows brides what is on offer. The owner has more than 50 original dresses for sale, describes them as being in excellent vintage condition, and sells them by enquiry and through an Etsy shop.
The site also features real brides who have worn the dresses and a news blog.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. Its menu separates the vintage wedding dresses, the real brides who wore them, and the latest news, and the home page puts a contact button and a link to the Etsy shop within easy reach.
I host the site as well, so WordPress and plugin updates, security checks, and regular backups are my job.
What visitors find
A gallery of vintage dresses and a Real Brides section show the dresses as they were worn. The news blog is sorted by decade, from the 1930s to the 1980s, and covers lace, veils, shoes, and hairstyles. Visitors can email the owner to ask about stock or go to the Etsy shop to buy.
