About the project
Dr Nilufar Ahmed is a chartered psychologist, accredited psychotherapist, and coach, and this psychotherapist website in Bristol brings her work together in one place. She offers counselling and clinical supervision in Bristol, the Forest of Dean, online, or by phone.
Nilufar also provides diversity and inclusion training, consultancy, and research for organisations. Her home page describes a culturally informed approach to therapy and an intersectional way of working, and says she is Associate Professor of Psychology and Inclusion at Bristol University.
My work on the site
I host the site as part of my managed hosting and care. That covers WordPress and plugin updates, security monitoring, and regular backups.
With training, counselling, coaching, and media pages to look after, a steady routine of updates and backups keeps the whole site in good order.
What visitors find
There are separate pages for training, counselling and psychotherapy, coaching, and media and public engagement, plus a blog. The home page sets out Nilufar’s qualifications and areas of expertise, which include race and antiracism, migration, and trauma informed care, and it lists the organisations where she has held governing roles. Her professional bodies include the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), AFBPsS, CPsychol, SFHEA, and FRGS.
If you’re a therapist or academic with a site that needs looking after, see my hosting and care.
