About the project
Jill Meager is a UK-based wildlife artist with a studio in central London, and this wildlife artist website in London is where she shows and sells her work. She makes close-up original portraits of animals, birds, and insects, and abstract mixed-media paintings of the places where she finds them.
Her originals, prints, and cards are sold through the site’s shop and at two galleries, The BobCat Gallery and The Darryl Nantais Gallery, and she takes drawing commissions.
My work on the site
I look after the site’s SEO, so it shows up when people search for wildlife art and prints in London.
The site runs on WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce, and it sits on my managed hosting. I keep WordPress and its plugins, including WooCommerce, up to date, watch its security, and keep regular backups.
What visitors find
Visitors can browse separate wildlife and abstract collections, buy prints and cards through the shop, and read the shipping and payment details. There is a news blog, testimonials, a commissions page, and a mailing list sign-up for news of art shows, pop-ups, and new work. Jill’s site says her work has been shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and her professional body is ARTCAN.
