About the project
Meeks Counselling and Psychotherapy is a small group practice in Manchester, with private therapy rooms in Prestwich and Failsworth. This group practice website is for adults and teenagers looking for counselling face to face, online, by phone, or by live text, and the practice matches each client with the therapist who suits them best.
The practice’s associate counsellors, including Mika Warne, work mainly in a person-centred way, and some also use elements of CBT.
My work on the group practice website
Meeks offers several ways to have therapy, including live text counselling, so each one needs to be easy to find and understand. I carried out full SEO on the Squarespace site, so the practice shows up when people search for counselling in Prestwich, Failsworth, and Manchester.
I also made updates to help visitors move smoothly from reading about a service to booking a free consultation.
What visitors find
A warm welcome for people who feel overwhelmed or can’t switch off, with a button to book a free consultation repeated down the page. There are pages for services and fees, live text counselling, podcasts, and the team, and client reviews name the counsellors people saw.
The footer gives the practice’s BACP membership number and its NCPS accredited registrant status, and the home page notes a feature in the Oldham Chronicle.
