About the project
The Curiously Kind Counsellor is the practice of Laurie Hole, a BACP-accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Poole, Dorset. This online counselling website is for adults across the UK who feel lost, stuck, low, or not quite themselves, and Laurie works only online.
The practice is neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQIA+ allied. Laurie has also written a book on grief, Speaking Grief.
My work on the online counselling website
Laurie’s site had needed work for years, and the aim was to make it clearer, easier to manage, and easier to find.
I made updates across the Squarespace site and worked on its SEO, including the pages on online counselling, fees and sessions, resources, and grief.
What visitors find
A home page that speaks to people who feel things deeply, with a plain list of reasons people come to counselling and a button to book a free introductory call. Detailed FAQs cover what to bring, who Laurie works with, and what accreditation means for clients.
The Resources section includes Laurie’s book and the TIME Model of Grief, alongside a blog and a page on qualifications and experience. Laurie is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If your site has needed attention for a while, my SEO packages are a sensible place to start.
