About the project
View Counselling is the practice of Paz Clayton, an integrative counsellor, and this counsellor website in Heswall, on the Wirral, is where people find out whether Paz is the right fit. She sees clients in person, by phone, or by video.
Paz draws on person-centred therapy, CBT, solution focused therapy, DBT skills, and mindfulness. Her site lists depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, bullying, and bereavement among the things she helps with.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. The home page opens with a short welcome and the issues Paz works with, then lists each type of therapy with a link to learn more, so people can see her approach before they get in touch.
The site is hosted with me. I keep WordPress and its plugins updated, watch for security problems, and make regular backups.
What visitors find
There are pages about Paz, what she offers, counselling, and FAQs, as well as a Book page where people can arrange an appointment online and a Contact page with her phone number and email. The site also has a cookie notice that lets visitors accept or reject cookies.
