About the project
Cathy Wragg is a BACP registered counsellor in Weybridge, Surrey, and this counsellor website in Weybridge is for adults, adolescents, couples, and families who are looking for support. She sees clients face to face, and by Zoom or phone, in short or long term work.
The home page speaks to people who feel lost or overwhelmed and find it hard to ask for help, and it describes counselling as a safe, confidential space to work through feelings.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. The home page keeps things simple, with a short explanation of how counselling can help, a clear list of what Cathy can help with, and buttons that invite visitors to take their first step and contact her.
I look after the site’s SEO, so it shows up when people search for counselling in Weybridge. The site also lives on my managed hosting, with WordPress and plugin updates, security checks, and regular backups all taken care of.
What visitors find
Pages for counselling, About, FAQ, and Contact. Cathy lists the issues she works with, including work stress, bereavement, anxiety, anger, and bullying, and the home page shows her membership of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) at the top.
If you are a counsellor thinking about a new site, my websites for therapists page is a good place to start.
