About the project
Amy Lasen is a person-centred counsellor in Salford, Manchester, who works with adults with late-diagnosed or self-diagnosed ADHD, AuDHD, and autism. I built this Squarespace counselling website so each group of people she works with can find a page that speaks to them.
Her practice is neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Alongside ADHD and AuDHD counselling, she offers aphantasia-informed counselling, chronic illness counselling, support for families affected by imprisonment, and sharing circles.
My work on the Squarespace counselling website
I designed and built the full site in Squarespace, with a separate page for each service. Someone looking for AuDHD counselling, or for support as the family of a prisoner, lands on a page written for them.
I also look after the site’s SEO. Each service page is set up for search, and I added schema markup, code that tells search engines who Amy is, where she works, and what she offers. I still manage the site for her.
What visitors find
A warm welcome from Amy, a short summary of each service with a link to learn more, an FAQs page, and a newsletter sign-up. Visitors can book a session online or start with a free introductory call.
If you’re a counsellor with a specialist focus, my websites for therapists show how a site can speak to the people you help.
