About the project
My Last Startup is the advisory business of Richard Abbott, a founder turned advisor who has built five businesses. This business advisor website presents his small business strategy work for owners and founders facing big decisions.
Richard helps with start-up evaluation, scale-up strategy and exit planning, and he runs a WhatsApp community for businesses starting out with AI.
My work on the site
I designed and built the site in WordPress and Elementor. It is built around Richard’s own story, with a My Startups section that lists the five businesses he has launched, from Abbotts Eggs to Sun Beach House, and an offer of a free discovery call as the main action.
I host the site on my managed hosting. WordPress and its plugins are kept up to date, security is watched and backups run regularly.
What visitors find
A set of services under How I Help, an About Me page, a Why page and a contact form for people who want to join the AI community. Richard also lists what to expect when working with him, starting with straight answers rather than sales talk.
