About the project
Pet Assist Animal Care is a family-run business, established in 2014, that looks after pets at home and at its own premises. This pet sitting website in Scarborough covers home visits, dog walking, pet taxis, and key holding across the town and district.
The business also boards small mammals, tortoises, and birds at its premises on Filey Road, and the site says its hutches are built to Rabbit Welfare Association standards. It states clearly that it does not board cats or dogs, though it will care for them in their own homes.
My work on the site
The site runs on my managed hosting. Behind the scenes, I keep WordPress and its plugins up to date, watch for security problems, and keep regular backups.
What visitors find
Separate pages for home visits, dog walking, and boarding, a price list, a photo gallery, and customer testimonials. The home page lists reasons to choose the business, including that it is fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in animal first aid, and it invites visitors to phone for a quote.
If you run a small local business and want your site looked after, take a look at my hosting and care packages.
