Make Your Private Practice Website Stand Out Online

9 July @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
A free online workshop for therapists and counsellors who want their website to attract the right clients and get found on Google.

Getting found online can feel overwhelming.

Should you be blogging? Is AI something you should be using? Does SEO still matter? How do you know what’s actually worth your time, and what can safely be ignored?

Join Jane Travis and Theo Ruby for a relaxed, interactive Q&A where you can bring your questions about websites, blogging, AI and online marketing for your counselling private practice.

Each month we have a featured theme to get the conversation started, but the session is shaped by the questions you bring

This month’s featured theme: Blogging

Blogging is still one of the most effective ways to help the right clients find you online. It helps people discover your website through Google, gives them the opportunity to get to know you before they ever make contact, and demonstrates your knowledge and approach.

In this session, Jane will be sharing her experience of using blogging to grow her own business over many years and answering your questions about planning blog content, writing posts people actually want to read, and how AI can support your writing without losing your own voice. Jane is also the creator of the monthly Framework First Blogging Method, which helps counsellors blog consistently and confidently.

Theo will be sharing the SEO side of blogging—how Google uses your content to understand what your website is about, why blogs can improve your visibility in search results, and the simple things you can do to give each post the best chance of being found.

As always, if blogging isn’t your biggest question right now, that’s absolutely fine too. Bring your questions about your website, Google Business Profile, SEO, AI or online marketing, and we’ll do our best to answer them.

There are no slides and no formal presentation. Just practical, honest answers to the questions that matter most to you.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You have a blog but aren’t sure it’s actually doing anything
  • You want to attract more of the right clients without spending money on ads
  • You’ve tried writing posts but don’t know what to cover or how to structure them
  • You want honest, practical guidance from people who work with therapists every day
